In our factory, the birth of every meter of ACSR begins with strict screening of raw materials. Specifications

The Characteristics of ACSR:

• High strength: The steel core provides excellent tensile strength and is suitable for long-distance overhead lines.
• Good conductivity: The aluminum outer layer ensures good conductivity and reduces energy loss.
• Corrosion resistance: Galvanized steel core and anti-corrosion treated aluminum wire are usually used to extend their service life.
• Lightweight: Compared to pure steel wires, it is lighter in weight and easier to install and maintain.

Applications

The steel core aluminum strand has the characteristics of simple structure, easy erection and maintenance, low line cost, large transmission capacity, and is conducive to the laying of special geographical conditions such as rivers and valleys, good electrical conductivity, sufficient mechanical strength, large tensile strength, and magnify the distance of the tower rod. Therefore, it is widely used in overhead transmission and distribution lines of various voltage levels.

Different transmission projects face different geographical environments, climate conditions, and technical indicators. Therefore, our ACSR products are not a single specification. We offer a complete range from regular models (such as JL/G1A-70/10 to JL/G1A-720/50) to special models.

Aluminium conductors are commonly wound onto wooden or steel reels, which provide protection during transport and handling.

Pay attention to the following steps during installation:

1. Tension control: It is recommended to control the tension at 20% -30% of the rated value to avoid excessive stretching.
2. Sag adjustment: Adjust the sag according to the ambient temperature, generally within the range of 1% -3% span.
3. Connection processing: Use specialized crimping tools, and the recommended crimping pressure is 20-30MPa.
